Darbar-e-Dil
is an out standing novel by Umaira Ahmed, who is the most popular name
among todays novelists. The novel is about those people who sometimes
make a small mistake and pay big for that and then they keep thinking
there must be some will of GOD in this mishap. The book also contains
small dialogues between Women, Mem and Devil, which is a unique piece of
writing. Umair Ahmad did his M.A English from Murrey College Sialkot
and served in Army Public College Cambridge Wing. She started her
literary career with writing stories in digests and now she is a very
successful novelist and drama writer. Many of her novels have been
dramatized so far like Wajood Laraib, La Hasil, Amar Bail, Man o Salwa,
Wapsi. Her first TV serial Wajud-e-Laraib won Best Writer Indus Vision
Award 2005. She had also wrote three tele films and one drama 'Noor Ka
Maskan' for Radio Channel FM 101. Her books include, Hum kahan ke sachay
thay, darbar-e-dil, wapsi, zindagi gulzar hay, mere 50 pasandida scene,
peer-e-kamil, La Hasil, Haasil, Mein ne Khabon ka shajar dekha hay,
Amar Bail, Iman Ummid or Mohabbat, Meri Zaat Zarra Be Nishan, Sahar aik
istara hay, Harf se lafz tak, thoRa sa asmaaN, man o salwa.
